A UK based VoIP provider called tajphone.com is now offering very cheap call to Bangladesh (3p/min to both landline and mobile) and India (2p/min to both landline and mobile). You can call directly from your mobile or landline. But the above mentioned rate is applicable to call from UK landlines. Mobile operators charge extra and the price depends on Mobile phone network provider too. This offer is available to people who are currently reside in UK. Tajphone has their list of access numbers for India and Bangladesh. So, just dial those access numbers and then put your destination number and that’s all. You don’t need to buy any kind of separate credits from this VoIP provider. Actually this 2/3p per minute (for India and Bangladesh respectively) will be charged when you will call to their access number. So, in your monthly phone bill you will only see that VoIP provider’s access number as your dialed number (not your original destination number). This type of special access numbers are called as NGN (Non Geographic numbers) & they are charged accordingly to the above quoted prices (means for India 2p and Bangladesh 3p). So, you can easily try their service.
